With our in-house programme we aim to communicate, mediate and discuss science in an understandable way. The programme is oriented around Heinrich Heine University’s academic profile and main research areas as well as at current social and scientific challenges. All five faculties and many research centres are involved, often with their own event series. The programme ranges from classic scientific lectures and panel discussions to science slams and interactive formats.

In addition, we host other academic and cultural events that are also part of our event calendar. This especially includes events held by our collaborative partners, as for example the Robert-Schumann-Musikhochschule (conservatory). All events listed in the calendar are open to the public and free of charge (unless otherwise indicated).

Members of Heinrich Heine University who would like to carry out events as part of our programme, as well as external partners interested in collaborative formats, should please contact the programme management.
